Increase Cooling Capacity on Your C4 Corvette with a Direct Fit® Cooling Fan Upgrade
With a factory computer controlled cooling fan it is often difficult to increase cooling system efficiency without having to hack the factory parts up and cobble things together to try and upgrade the cooling system’s electric cooling fan. At DeWitts we know Corvette owners are above that and want something that is not only plug-and-play but provides a cooling improvement as well. Our engineers have put together a great dual electric SPAL radiator fan upgrade that not only bolts right in and requires zero wiring modifications, but also provides nearly a 50 percent improvement in air flow.
Our dual fan kits for the C4 Corvette are designed to mount to either the stock single core radiator, or our own aluminum Direct Fit® Pro Series or HP Series performance radiators. These kits use a pair of 11-inch SPAL electric fans that pull 2,720 cfm through your radiator core to keep your temps in check. The included composite fan shrouds that house the two fans provide full radiator core coverage. Air pressure relief flaps are fitted to allow air to pass through at speed to prevent air stalling against the fan blades. These flaps close during low speed driving or when stopped to optimize air flow through the core by the fan’s blades.
All SPAL fans feature IP68 rated waterproof and sealed motors that are fully balanced with low-noise blade designs. Designed to bolt directly to your stock or DeWitts Direct Fit® Pro Series or HP Series aluminum crossflow radiator with the included aluminum brackets and hardware. No additional wiring is necessary, as we provide the OE-style fan connectors to plug directly into your stock electric cooling fan wiring harness. Minor rework/relocation of the air conditioning accumulator mount will be necessary.
